we need to upgrade humanity as a whole....NOW!!!
my reasoning, cuz it be awesome to have usb cables n junk on you.
if we upgrade to the point of cyberization if our "bodies" burn out we can switch over our minds to a new "model, body"
and with this you wouldnt just be limited to the shackles of birth.
any "model" right for the switch.
the possibilities would be endles.
.....now this jump may be just a tad bit to big, so lets start off small.
glesses with screens...mmorpg helmets...then slowly progres to a world like that of ghost in shell.

I would suggest watching the movie Surrogates it shows what kind of rebellion happens in a world of people taking over in robot bodies just a suggestion.
